How big does a beagle get?

Beagles get to be around 12-16 inches tall at their shoulders. They’re considered a small to medium breed.

Beagle puppies are often classified into “13-inch” and the “15-inch” varieties, depending on their expected height when fully grown.

Adult male beagles typically weigh between 16 and 20 pounds, and females range from 15 to 18 pounds on average. Newborn beagle puppies can weigh as little as 5-10 ounces.
