We are in the process of adopting a little female dog, and we have chosen “Rosie” for her name. We are fans of the Lord of the Rings books and movies. A dog we had for years we called “Sam” (named for Samwise in LOTR), so we decided it would be appropriate to have a “Rosie.” (She’s the love of Sam’s life in the LOTR stories.)
